Here is a little insight into the world I live in...the good, the bad, and the ugly!


I...

• Am Type A, Melancholy/Choleric...which means I'm a doer, but since I take so long to plan, it should take me longer, but yet it doesn't because I push myself to achieve because I am competitive, and I want to win and usually do because I am right!!!!
• Am hard on myself. I expect a lot and I usually do not disappoint myself...did I mention I am Type A
• Love office/school supplies. I love them...all of them. Pencils, Pens, tablets of paper, Post It notes etc
• My favorite supply is the Sharpie. I have a multi pak and want another. Can't get enough.
• Am addicted to a few shows. America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, and Hell's Kitchen. I love them. I watch many more, trust me, but these I HAVE to watch. The other shows I watch with Amos, but these are MINE
• I rub my hands and fingers together in swift motion when I am excited or trying to warm myself up to a project at hand
• Am sarcastic
• Used to model, so I am constantly keeping up with the industry
• Have one eye that is slightly smaller than the other. Drives me crazy
• Am on my Blackberry all the time. I love it love it love it
• I have to eat Carbs and starch. I think I may die without them in the system daily
• Have to drive at least 5-10 miles over the speed limit on road trips. HAVE TO!!!!
• Am a good artist. I sing, but I am also very good at painting, pastels, charcoal, or just drawing. BUT I can't draw portraits to save my life. Never have
• Can watch a movie over and over again and never tire of it
• Cannot stand to listen to Southern Gospel music. I absolutely despise it. Anything with Gaither or Homecoming in the title and I run screaming
• Have eclectic taste in music: rap, jazz, rock, blues, classical instrumental, classic choral to name a few
• Am a faithful follower of XM radio
• Do not like Milk Chocolate. I love Dark Chocolate. It warms the soul. Milk Chocolate just makes your breath kick
• Did not completely understand the whole MPH (miles per hour) thing until a trip to Louisiana with Amos. He has never let me live that down.
• Can't stand "cakelike" brownies. Why even make them if they are not gooey and doughy
• Could look at a Martha Stewart magazine all day, but do not watch the show because I don't like her voice
• Adore Giada De Laurentis. Just adore her. One of my favorites
• Love Sushi
• Have been a Yankees fan since I was younger. Derek Jeter is my favorite baseball player and JUST happens to play for them (best of both worlds). Total hottie!!!
• Love San Francisco. The food, the atmosphere, the views
• My dream vacation would be to go to London or seaside of Italy
• Corn is my favorite veggie and the potato is my favorite food group:)
• Am nervous being in a pool with water above my head but love to Scuba Dive
• Have always and still do love to turn up the bass when I listen to music with a bump to it...BUT never in residential:)
• Get furious when I see people park in Handicap spots and they have no apparent issue
• Dislike medications....no, I am not all anti doctor. I just get loopy and don't take them. I want to be able to feel the symptoms so I know exactly how I feel...did I mention I am choleric and must be in control
• Don't like it when people go around me and have something done when I could have done it better...BUT I get irritated when I get asked to do everything...I know...I said it was the good, bad, and the ugly of myself
• Love Amos more than anything, but don't make it a big ordeal in public. I am not against PDA, we just don't need it to prove to anyone
• Had a veggie burger once and almost threw it up...the only to get it down was to drown it in salt, pepper, and ketchup. I have to have beef
• Love to read the following novel series: Alex Cross, Kay Scarpetta, Charles Lenox
• Love to know the history of the Bible passage I am reading. Seminary did me good with that. I love research and then to know the details so I can apply correctly and not take the passage out of context is so cool to me
• I love to teach
• Could listen to my children's laughs all day. They are infectious
• Truly am honored when people come to me for advice. If God can use me to help someone through a circumstance or with an issue, or just a quick question, I feel humbled
• Miss my mom, but have a great step mother
• Wish I was a size smaller, but don't want to work to get there so I look at it as being fine with not being a size bigger than I am:)

And I always wonder why...

• People are either chocolate lovers or salt lovers...I rarely meet someone who loves both equally
• Does my DVR only record 3 HD channels at a time when it will record 4 regular shows
• Is my iTunes NOT compatible with anything else besides Apple products
• Can't I play videos off the Internet (YouTube) on my Blackberry (or CrackBerry as my friend from Highschool calls it)
• Does Vanilla smell so incredible but tastes gross by itself
• Does Amos like to watch the History Channel
• Does Juliane chew her TOE NAILS with her TEETH
• Can't Hannah learn her alphabet but knows every Disney Radio song by heart
• Can't Clay understand me the first time I say something
• Am I so addicted to Facebook
• Can't I scrapbook. I don't lack the ability and my pages that I have are awesome, but I can't decide on one idea so I don't do it...very frustrating
• Won't the dog quit biting at all of us
• Does Amos watch EVERY Cribs episode on Video on Demand
• Highschool Musical is so popular when the darn kids can't hold a note
• Tomato soup only tastes good with Grilled Cheese
• People put music on their blogs...I like to see people's taste in music once, but then I mute it every time so I can read the information. So why should I put music on mine, I would spend all this time finding the cool music and then get muted by everyone

So there...nothing deeply spiritual or anything. Just me in a nutshell. I didn't add everything of course, but this is enough to show how strange I am. And I am not sure I would change if I could. Happy Honest Friday.
